EVANGELISM IS …. “How are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” Roman 10:15 When we evangelize, we are spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has created us with different personalities and gifts, and some of us are more adept at the verbal proclamation of the Gospel than others. Nevertheless, declaring the message of salvation through Christ is the responsibility of us all, and we must seek opportunities to preach the Gospel. Only if we confess Him before men will He confess us before the Father. So, everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
OUTREACH IS …. Caring for the boy next door who has never attended Sunday school. Caring for president of your bank, your insurance agent, and your doctor who may not know Christ. Caring whether your new neighbors are Christians. Outreach is your Sunday School seeking to find and reach those who do not know Christ, those who are not studying God’s Word, those who have not found a place of service for Christ. It is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win lost to Christ by verbal witness undergirded by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ. LET’S REACH OUT THRU OUTREACH The purpose for which we exist, as a New Testament Church, is to reach out in all directions, to all people, with every kind of need – and offer them to Christ, who cares, who loves and Who meets every need when faith and trust is anchored in Him.

Vea’s Children’s Clothes Closet Director Sister Veleria Halton
The Lakewood Baptist Children’s Clothes Closet is a ministry that provides certain clothes and coats to our homeless children as well to the children in our community.
Fall season will be here soon! Lakewood Baptist Church and Vea’s Coat and Clothing closet for children is gathering new and newly used Coats and Jackets and new underwear for our school age children in our area and community. Please donate Boys and girls Coats and Jackets size 5-6, 7-8, 10-12 and XL New underwear Boys' and girls' size 5-6, 7-8, 10-12 and XL. You can drop off items at Lakewood Baptist Church at 2101 Mastin Lake Rd Huntsville. Al 35810 or call Veleria Halton Director at 256-275-0697Drop off between 10:00am and 2:00pm
Children’s Church Director: Mrs. Iris Clark
Children’s Church is every Sunday Morning @ 10:30.
The children love all the different ways that she teaches them about God. This is for all elementary children. Bring your child, they will be so happy you found the place for them to grow in Christ and make friends along the way.

Helps the homeless with food. Also, we deliver food to the disabled.
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry
In partnership with the WMU and Samaritain's Purse We are collecting Items for the shoeboxes. Our goal for 2023 is 105 Boxes.
January – gloves, scarves, socks, etc.
February – Fashion accessories (hats, sunglasses, jewelry, etc.) March – Small toys
April – Small Stuff Animals
May – Hygiene Items (wash cloths, soap, combs, brushes, tooth brushes)
June- Coloring Books & crayons
July- Clothing (T shirts-Shorts)
August- School Supplies
September- Games (Cards, dominoes, Puzzles, Etc.)
October- TBA/Donations
November- Prayer/Donations
December-Prayer

To teach the 7th-12th grade students to grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and prepare them to serve Jesus in all they do and to also teach and prepare them to minister to the community and the world just like Jesus did by using the Great Commission laid out in Matthew 28:18-20 as a foundation.
